What happens if a monthly payment fails?
We try again. After 3 failures in a row the gift stops by itself, and your account shows that it stopped and why — a monthly gift never stops, or carries on, silently.
What if the organisation stops being verified?
Your gift pauses automatically and nothing is taken until the organisation is verified again. Your account shows it as paused and why.
Can I change the amount?
Stop the current gift and start a new one at the amount you want. A mandate is approved by your bank for one amount, so changing it means approving a new one.
Is each month's gift receipted?
A PAN and full address are required for an 80G certificate. Without them your donation still reaches the organisation, but no certificate can be issued.
