Funding gap
Campaigns further from their goal receive more weight.
Transparent discovery
Campaign order is designed to spread attention fairly while keeping relevant, active work visible.
Campaigns further from their goal receive more weight.
Fresh activity helps donors find campaigns that communicate.
A small deterministic rotation prevents permanent first-page ownership.
The complete rule
Campaigns are ordered by funding gap (50%), update recency (30%), and daily rotation (20%). Update recency is measured from the last update published to donors — not from the last time the page was edited — so a campaign rises by telling its supporters what happened, never by re-saving its own text.
No paid placement. No campaign can buy a higher position, and every donor can read the ordering rule.
